Job summary

Neaman Hand Therapy in Oregon is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead advanced care for upper extremity injuries. You’ll evaluate, design treatment plans, fabricate custom orthoses, and collaborate with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to restore function and independence.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
Current Oregon OT or PT license (or ability to obtain before start).
Strong orthopedic and upper-extremity rehabilitation experience.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity injuries and conditions.
Being able to work as a team or independently.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and functional needs.
Design and fabricate custom orthoses for post-operative care, injury management, and functional support.
Guide patients through progressive rehabilitation programs following surgery, trauma, and chronic conditions.
Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
Collaborate closely with surgeons and providers to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, accountability, and compassionate patient care.
