Job summary

Neaman Hand Therapy in Oregon is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to lead advanced care for upper extremity injuries. You’ll evaluate, design treatment plans, fabricate custom orthoses, and collaborate with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to restore function and independence.

Qualifications

  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT).
  • Current Oregon OT or PT license (or ability to obtain before start).
  • Strong orthopedic and upper-extremity rehabilitation experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity injuries and conditions.
  • Being able to work as a team or independently.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and functional needs.
  • Design and fabricate custom orthoses for post-operative care, injury management, and functional support.
  • Guide patients through progressive rehabilitation programs following surgery, trauma, and chronic conditions.
  • Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention.
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons and providers to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory and payer requirements.
  • Contribute to a culture of clinical excellence, teamwork, accountability, and compassionate patient care.

Your Impact

As a Certified Hand Therapist, you'll play a vital role in helping patients regain function, independence, and confidence through evidence-based care and individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications
Required
  • Master's or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy
  • Certified Hand Therapist (CHT)
  • Current Oregon OT or PT license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Strong orthopedic and upper extremity rehabilitation experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred
  • Experience in outpatient orthopedic or hand specialty practice
  • Experience with custom orthosis fabrication and post-operative rehabilitation protocols
Compensation & Benefits

Hourly Pay: $60.00-$65.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and qualifications.
