Job summary

Papillion La Vista Community Schools seeks a certified full-time floater substitute teacher to support Bell/Rumsey Station Elementary and other campuses. Duties include filling daily substitute positions, delivering instruction, managing small groups, supervising students, and supporting school operations as assigned.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Education (preferred) and Nebraska Teacher's Certificate or Substitute License.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill daily substitute positions across assigned classrooms and buildings.

Certified - Full Time Floater Substitute Teacher

Bell/Rumsey Station Elementary - To Begin Jan. 2027

Job Summary: Supports the district by filling daily substitute positions and provides classroom, small group and individual instruction, management, supervision and support for students, and performs other duties related to the position. This is a daily assignment-based position, filling in for unfilled teaching and building support roles, placed in by district staff each morning. Additional responsibilities may include performing duties as assigned to support school operations.

Pay & Benefits

Salary paid based on $200/day and benefit options include single health & dental insurance, paid snow days, NPERS retirement employee and district contribution, and paid personal days.
