Papillion La Vista Community Schools is seeking a Certified - Full Time Floater Substitute Teacher for Anderson Grove/Walnut Creek Elementary to begin Dec. 2026. The role fills daily substitute positions and provides instruction, supervision, and support for students.

Duties include classroom and small group work as assigned by district staff to support school operations. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Education (preferred) and Nebraska Teacher's Certificate or Substitute License.

Job Summary

Supports the district by filling daily substitute positions and provides classroom, small group and individual instruction, management, supervision and support for students, and performs other duties related to the position. This is a daily assignment-based position, filling in for unfilled teaching and building support roles, placed in by district staff each morning. Additional responsibilities may include performing duties as assigned to support school operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred
• Certification: Nebraska Teacher's Certificate or Substitute License

Pay & Benefits

Salary paid based based on $200/day and benefit options include single health & dental insurance, paid snow days, NPERS retirement employee and district contribution, and paid personal days.
