Job summary

Lowe's Stores in Orlando, FL is hiring for a picker/fulfillment associate to support on-site order fulfillment and customer service. You will pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders, maintain safe staging areas, and help customers connect with the right store associates.

The role requires hands-on use of powered equipment and a focus on safety, with opportunities to support inventory accuracy and daily store operations. Prior experience with retail tech is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain powered equipment and follow all safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
