Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to move product into inventory and onto trucks. You will rotate finished goods, label and package products for inventory, ensure correct quantities and quality, and load trucks for delivery while maintaining safe packaging and pallets.

Daily paperwork and equipment inspections are part of the role. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to read loading slips, basic ERP/tablet/scanner use, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets loading slips, safety rules and operating procedures.
• Operates forklift safely and efficiently in a manufacturing/warehouse setting.
• Follows all safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper rotation and placement of finished goods
• Properly label product and package product for inventory
• Ensure packaged quantities are correct and quality is up to standards
• Load trucks with the finished product for delivery
• Before loading product for shipment ensure packaging and pallet are safe and adequate for shipment
• Complete Daily paperwork including inspection reports for equipment
