Job summary

Challenger Turf, Inc. is seeking a warehouse Distribution Assistant in Dalton, GA. The role supports the Distribution Lead and oversees material relocation, staging, loading, and unloading in coordination with freight vendors.

Work hours are Monday–Friday, 7am–5pm, with duties including safe operation of lift equipment, order accuracy, and inventory support. This onsite position requires reliable attendance and teamwork within the Distribution department.

Qualifications

• Education or experience level required.
• 1+ year of lift truck operation.
• Certified lift truck operation training.
• Exhibits mastery level performance of lift truck operation.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Operate a lift truck with fork or pole attachment to move materials.
• Ensure all standard procedures are followed while transacting movements of materials.
• Coordinate loading and unloading of materials with Distribution Lead, Mat Lead, and/or Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
• Communicate any order issues with Distribution Lead, Mat Lead, and/or Shipping & Receiving Clerk.
• Verify lot numbers when loading or unloading product.
• Assist in proper packaging of materials.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist in inventory monitoring.
