Job summary

Sciens Logistics seeks a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate in Houston, TX to safely move, store, and handle freight in a busy warehouse.Role requires a current forklift certification, hazmat experience, and the ability to work with precision and safety in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading shipments, operating WMS/RF scanners, and maintaining accurate inventory while upholding OSHA/DOT safety standards. Full-time, on-site at Houston facility.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operation in a warehouse or freight environment.
• Hands-on hazmat handling with knowledge of DOT hazmat regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and hazmat paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down, stand-up, and/or reach forklifts to move, stage, and store freight.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-shift inspections and report issues.
• Maintain safe travel speeds and follow warehouse protocols.
• Receive, inspect, pick, pack, and prepare outbound shipments.
• Record freight movement using WMS or RF scanners.
