Job summary

TMD Staffing is seeking a Certified Forklift Driver for our North Houston area operation. The role involves handling shipping/receiving, picking/packing, loading/unloading trailers, palletizing, and RF scanner use. Forklift experience with Crown and clamp models is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle shipping and receiving duties.
• Perform picking and packing tasks.
• Load and unload trailers.
• Palatize products for storage and shipment.
• Operate RF scanner to track inventory.
• Use sit-down forklift to move goods.
• Assist with receiving/unloading and warehousing as needed.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

We are looking for well-rounded warehouse associates who can work across different areas of the operation rather than doing only one function.

• Shipping and receiving
• Picking and packing
• Loading/unloading trailers
• Palletizing
• RF scanner
• Sit-down forklift
• Crown forklift experience is a plus
• Clamp forklift experience is a plus
• General warehouse experience

Their products include generators, batteries, and related equipment. Products arrive from overseas in containers, so associates may assist with receiving, unloading, warehousing, order fulfillment, and shipping. They also have a service/mechanical side where employees may assist with assembling or working on generators/products. They like employees who are flexible and willing to wear multiple hats.

Pay / Schedule

Pay range discussed: approximately $18–$21/hour, depending on experience/position

Schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Friday Approximately 40 hours per week

Warehouse conditions

Warehouse is not climate controlled / no A/C
