Job summary

FloridaTutoringNetwork is hiring a Certified Teacher/Tutor to work with Elementary, Middle, and High school students. You will provide individualized and small-group instruction, create lesson plans, and support test preparation to help students reach their potential.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree with a teaching license or certification, classroom teaching experience, and strong subject knowledge; flexible schedule and on-campus sessions are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent teaching credential.
• Teaching license or certification required or in process.
• Experience teaching in a classroom setting preferred.
• Experience in developing curricula and lesson plans.
• Strong knowledge in at least one core subject area and ability to teach multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide supplemental instruction to students.
• Develop lesson plans based on student needs.
• Assist with test preparation and review.
• Prepare instructional materials and resources.
• Evaluate and record student progress and communicate updates.

Education

Bachelor’s degree
