Job summary

Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking a certified Floor and Chair Yoga Group Fitness Instructor for a part‑time, hourly role in Pennsylvania. You will lead engaging classes that help members build healthier habits and enjoy a supportive, energetic community.

You will prepare routines within YMCA standards, ensure safety, and provide encouragement to members while maintaining high service quality. Flexible scheduling and access to YMCA perks await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or equivalent.
• YMCA Foundations of Group Exercise certification with experience or National certification (1)
• Certification in Floor and Chair Yoga
• Exhibit strong leadership skills; passion for member service and culture of service excellence

Responsibilities

• Set an example of healthy living and personal fitness.
• Prepare routines and/or choreography within YMCA standards.
• Provide support and encouragement to members and reinforce healthy lifestyles.
• Ensure safety and well-being of members and staff; notify supervisor of safety hazards.
• Provide excellent service to all members and notify supervisor of needs for program quality.
• Ensure safe movement and proper technique in all classes.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and records of incidents
