We are searching for Certified Fitness Trainers to join our planet! In this position, you will be responsible for running the Planet Fitness group fitness program (PE@PF). This includes assisting new members in achieving their fitness goals by designing simple workout programs and instructing them on the proper use of equipment. Other responsibilities include creating a positive member experience and providing friendly & beneficial training to Planet Fitness members & guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain a positive & upbeat attitude
• Create class schedules including member orientations and individual classes tailored to members' needs
• Engage proactively with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct on safe equipment use
• Promote our Judgement Free Zone
• Be available for members when classes are not in session
• Greet members/guests and assist with questions or concerns during check-in
• Be a team player

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Punctuality and reliability
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required
• CPR/AED Certification (training provided if needed)
• Personal training experience preferred

Physical Demands:

• Standing and walking during shifts
• Moving in various positions, including lifting, bending, and twisting
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Compensation:

Hourly rate of $17.00, quarterly bonus, education reimbursement
