Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Full Time Certified Surgical Tech, First Assist to join the surgery team in Enid, OK. The CFA will provide surgical support for primary surgeons and contribute as a CST when not acting as CFA, ensuring readiness for complex procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required.
• CSFA certification (NBSTSA) and CST (NCCT or NBSTSA) required.
• Three years OR experience preferred.
• Good communication skills and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides surgical assistance in the OR as a Certified First Assistant (CFA).
• Functions as a surgical technician when not performing as CFA.
• Plans and prepares for technically advanced procedures in a multi-service setting.
• Collaborates with the surgical team in the operating room.
