Job description

Join a Growing Team of High Performers Where Excellence is Our Baseline

Moore Family Law Group is seeking skilled, relentless advocates who genuinely care about their clients. We are looking for Certified Family Law Specialists (CFLS) or experienced family law attorneys (5+ years in FL) who are ready to grow with us, not just work for us. We pride ourselves on our GOLD standard, a strong team culture, and offering multiple pathways for growth, including Managing Attorney and Partner Track opportunities for those who excel.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • A true advocate: Someone who fights fiercely but professionally for clients while maintaining empathy and composure in high-stakes situations.
  • A team player with leadership drive: You’ll own your cases, collaborate closely with a strong support team, and contribute to the firm’s continued growth and reputation.
  • Strategic, not just reactive: From case strategy to courtroom presentation, we value attorneys who think ahead, solve problems, and get results.
  • Say what you mean, do what you say: If you make a promise to a client, keep it.
  • Failing to prepare is preparing to fail: Being prepared shows respect for a client's investment in you.
  • Responsive attorneys create responsive clients: Responsive clients are easier to manage.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Directly communicate with clients — advising, guiding, and advocating. IF YOU DON’T LIKE COMMUNICATING WITH CLIENTS, or CALLING THEM BACK, or RESPONDING TO EMAILS – DO NOT APPLY. THIS FIRM IS NOT FOR YOU! RESPONSIVENESS SETS US APART!
  • Handle and/or oversee all aspects of litigation and negotiation: pleadings, discovery, settlement conferences, RFOs/motions, and trials
  • Prepare clients for hearings and CCRC
  • Draft and review persuasive legal documents: motions, Ps&As, RFOs, DVROs, marital settlement agreements, judgments, orders, and more
  • Manage complex issues like property division, including real estate and businesses in divorce proceedings; custody evaluations, and move-aways. Trial experience and court appearances are necessary—the more you have, the better! We will be sending you A LOT.
Qualifications

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 5+ years of solid family law experience (CFLS preferred)
  • Strong research, writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills. Comprehensive research tools are available.
  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines.
  • Delegation skills — support team available.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Familiarity with Clio and Mac systems is a plus.
  • We are a professional service and expect you to capture your time.
Compensation

$175,000 - $300,000 per year
