Job Description

Olentangy Schools is seeking qualified candidates for multiplePreschoolIntervention Specialist positionsfor the 2027-28 school year. The preschool classroom will serve a range of students, ages 3-5, that qualify for special education services; up to eight students with IEPs; and will have at least one preschool assistant. Plans, implements, and evaluates student learning experiences designed to address a wide range of maturity and skill levels. Helps students develop language, social, cognitive, and motor skills. Encourages parental involvement. Qualified candidates will be employed through the Educational Service Center of Central Ohio (ESCCO) and must hold or be eligible for valid and appropriate licensure (i.e., Early Childhood Intervention Specialist P-3 and early childhood general education license) for each position with the Ohio State Department of Education and Workforce.

Employment status: Certified, full-time, 185-day employment contract

Qualifications for the position include:

• Valid and appropriate Ohio teaching certificate/license
• Bachelor's degree in education from an accredited college or university
• Alternative to the above qualifications as Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate
