Knowledgeable of the function, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment utilized for the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES**1. Keeps equipment coordinator informed of any problems or suspected problems with the various pieces of equipment and instruments in their assigned area. 3. Uses various sterilization processes that are in place including steam, Sterrad and Steris. 4. Maintains event related sterility according to procedure. 5. Demonstrates understanding of the decontamination and sterilization process of instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital. 6.
