Job description

Certified Epic HB / PB General Ledger Analyst

Bluebird Staffing has a direct hire position for a Certified Epic HB / PB General Ledger Analyst in Florida. This is a remote work-from-home position, but applicants must reside in Florida or be willing to relocate within 1 hour of the southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. Relocation assistance is provided.

Location / Residence: REMOTE* (must reside in Florida or relocate to Southwest Gulf Coast, FL)

*Occasional on-site work may be required for training or other situations.

Responsibilities:

• Build, support, test, and implement billing data in Epic for financial reporting, including General Ledger build and Cost Center assignment.
• Prepare and execute functional system and program specifications using structured methodology.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to Information Systems and departments using Epic financial data.
• Facilitate discussions between revenue cycle, financial, clinical healthcare operations, and IS.
• Develop test scripts, conduct testing, support upgrades, and project go-lives related to Epic financial data.
• Design, build, and test solutions using advanced application and analytic skills.
• Support other non-Epic financial platforms and systems as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Epic HB or PB Certification
• 3-5 years of Epic Resolute HB or PB build, support, and implementation experience
• Understanding of Epic Revenue Cycle workflows, especially transaction-based data
• Knowledge of Epic batch scheduler, data extract, and reporting tools like Reporting Workbench and SlicerDicer
• Familiarity with data integration formats and Epic Facility Build Structure, Cost Center, and General Ledger build
• Understanding of healthcare financial and revenue cycle concepts
