Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network in East Stroudsburg is seeking a Per Diem Certified Emergency Department Technician for night shift (7p-7a) at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Pocono. You will support the ED team by maintaining patient records, transporting patients, and assisting with procedures in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, 1 year ED experience, and BLS certification. CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in an emergency department.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect patient history and maintain confidentiality.
• Transport patients between triage and treatment areas.
• Assist with clerical tasks such as phones, data entry, and medical records.
• Perform 12-lead ECG and routine venipuncture.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with sterile procedures.
