As a Teacher, your core responsibilities include:

Instructional Delivery and Assessment
  • Develop year-long Texas State standards-based unit and lesson plans that meet all students’ learning needs.
  • Use assessment data to modify plans, promoting all students’ academic performance.
  • Incorporate feedback to foster continuous improvement.
Academic and Cultural Support
  • Collaborate with teams to promote critical thinking and academic rigor.
  • Build trusting relationships with students and families.
  • Participate in school functions such as supervisory duties, staff meetings, open houses, and parent conferences.
  • Develop and communicate individualized learning plans to families.
  • Meet professional obligations with timeliness and consistency.
