You will complete Petco’s Dog Trainer Instructor Program and collaborate with grooming and veterinary teams to offer holistic health solutions. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required, with a strong focus on pet welfare and guest

Qualifications

• Passion for animal care and welfare.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to handle dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds safely.
• Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking ability.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide dog training services and sessions.
• Attend Petco’s Dog Trainer Instructor Program.
• Recommend and sell training classes and supplies.
• Maintain training records and progress notes.
