AutoNation, America’s leading automotive retailer, seeks a Certified Technician in Colorado Springs to perform repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with Parts and Service Advisors, diagnose malfunctions, and document work orders to ensure safety and reliability.

You will conduct multi-point inspections, maintain tool inventories, participate in factory training, and deliver an exceptional customer experience that drives loyalty across our nationwide store

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training varies by store needs.
• Attention to detail and strong organization.

Responsabilités

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and suggest safety improvements.

What We’re Looking For

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

• Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, to drive Customer loyalty.
• Communicating with the Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and performing repair, if authorized by the Customer.
• Conducting multi-point inspections to make appropriate recommendations to ensure the safety and reliability of Customer vehicles.
• Documenting work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintaining an inventory of normal Technician’s tools not normally inventoried by the Service department as “special tools.”
• Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate.
• Providing an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty

What are the requirements for this job?

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician
• Automotive technical training (varies based on store needs)
• Attention to detail
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Valid in-state driver’s license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record

The pay rate for this position is between $30- $40 Per Hour Flat Rate

Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Thisposition is/may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
