Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 1-2 years of experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the dietary department to ensure high-quality meals meeting nutritional needs and dietary restrictions.
• Supervise and train dietary staff, including cooks and aides.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to address resident dietary needs and concerns.
• Conduct food safety and sanitation audits to ensure a clean and safe environment.
