Atrium Centers Roosevelt Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Community is hiring a Certified Dietary Manager to lead the resident dining program. You will oversee daily dietary operations, develop menus, ensure regulatory compliance, and coach a dietary team to deliver safe, nutritious meals.
The ideal candidate holds a CDM credential and ServSafe certification with at least two years of food-service management, preferably in long-term care, and strong leadership and communication skills.
Atrium Centers is a 100% employee-owned organization where your leadership directly impacts resident care and satisfaction. As a Certified Dietary Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring residents receive safe, nutritious, and high-quality meals while leading a dedicated dietary team.
Oversee daily dietary operations, including meal preparation, service, and sanitation
Develop and implement menus that meet regulatory standards and resident nutritional needs
Ensure all meals comply with physician orders, special diets, and texture modifications
Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and resident satisfaction
Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate dietary team members
Maintain compliance with sanitation, infection control, and safety regulations
Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs and waste
Maintain accurate records for purchases, deliveries, and departmental reporting
Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams to support resident nutrition
Participate in surveys, inspections, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Respond to resident and family concerns related to dietary services
Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential — required
ServSafe Certification — required
Minimum 2 years of food service management experience, preferably in long-term care or healthcare
Strong knowledge of nutrition, special diets, food safety, and sanitation standards
Understanding of federal and state dietary regulations in skilled nursing
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and multiple priorities effectively
