Job Description

Our client is seeking a Dental Assistant for their Oral Surgery Department. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts at 8am-4pm, 9am-5pm, or 10am-6pm, totaling 35 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing oral surgical assistance to dental residents and students
  • Assisting in the administration of IV sedation and patient monitoring during procedures
  • Performing tests, assisting with dental castings, dispensing medications, and minor dental and surgical procedures
  • Ensuring safe handling, disposal, and storage of chemicals and hazardous materials
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of related experience
  • Graduate of a Dental Assistant Training Program
  • Knowledge of four-handed chairside dental techniques and lab equipment
  • 1-2 years of oral surgery experience with IV sedation or general anesthesia
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Preferred: Certification as a Dental Assistant
