Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation.
- Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) state licensure.
- Previous experience as a dental assistant.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and make them feel comfortable.
- Discuss dental care plans and answer patient questions.
- Take vital signs and record medical history.
- Prep sterilized equipment for the dentist.
- Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Schedule appointments.
