Job summary

VINITA PATEL DMD PA is seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will assist the dentist during exams and procedures, greet patients, and complete administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.

The ideal candidate has a current CDA or DANB license, an associate’s degree from a CODA-accredited program, and at least two years of experience. We value friendly, detail-oriented professionals who provide exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• CDA certificate or DANB RDA license.
• Previous dental assistant experience.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
