Lakewood Family Dental Of Indianapo is seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a CDA, you will assist the dentist during exams and procedures and handle basic administrative tasks, including scheduling.

The ideal candidate has a current license and at least two years of experience, and is friendly, outgoing, and committed to a fantastic patient experience. We welcome a detail-oriented professional who can provide high-quality patient care in a welcoming practice

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) or equivalent.
• Current Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) certificate or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license by the DANB.
• Previous experience as a dental assistant.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
• Schedule appointments.
