Urban Health Plan in Bronx, NY is hiring Certified Dental Assistants to join our Dental Department. The role supports dentists with chairside assistance, prepares treatment rooms, takes digital X-rays, and manages inventory and reception duties to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualified candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, a Dental Assistant Certificate, and bilingual English/Spanish skills.

Qualifications

Position Summary

As a member of the Dental Department, we are hiring Dental Assistants who will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the team. Dental Assistants will provide chairside support for General Dentistry and allow for our Dentists to provide efficient, high quality care to patients. They are responsible for providing hands-on support and completing prep work so Dentists can complete the required tasks at maximum speed and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Dental Assistant Certificate required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• 1 year of related experience in a dental setting with four-handed dentistry, preferred.
• Knowledge of Dental Software and EHR (e.g. Dentrix), highly desired.
