Job summary

SEABREEZE DENTAL GROUP in New York is seeking a qualified Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. You will support the dentist during exams and procedures, and handle scheduling and administrative tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate has an active CDA or DANB license, at least two years of experience, and excellent communication and data-entry skills to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from a CODA-accredited program.
• Current CDA certificate or DANB RDA licensure.
• Two+ years of dental assistant experience.
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Ability to provide high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them comfortable.
• Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer questions.
• Take vital signs and accurately record medical history.
• Prep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and procedures.
• Assist dentist during procedures and exams.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and office policies.
