Qualifications

• BLS/BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• (ST) Surgical Technologist certification is required.
• Certificate or equivalent credential.
• No travel required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a surgical tech role.

Responsibilities

• Leading surgical preparation by organizing suites, equipment, and instruments to ensure readiness for every procedure
• Scrubbing in and supporting surgeons through complex cardiac surgeries, anticipating needs and maintaining a safe, sterile environment
• Guiding and mentoring surgical technologists, serving as a role model while training new team members and reinforcing best practices
• Overseeing quality and safety by managing counts, handling specimens, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards
• Driving teamwork and efficiency through effective communication, rapid problem-solving, and support for on-call and emergency cases
