Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) for a full-time role in Savannah, GA. The selected candidate will assist surgeons and nurses during open heart and thoracic procedures, ensuring a sterile, safe, and efficient OR.

The position requires 1–2 years of CVOR experience, OR experience, CST certification, and BLS. Compensation includes hourly pay, a $15,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance on a case-by-case basis.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification.
• BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Set up operating rooms and ensure procedural readiness.
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and pre-op preparation.
• Perform surgical counts with the circulating RN.
• Maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
• Clean and prepare instruments for sterilization.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and team collaboration.

Location: Savannah, GA
Shift: Days / Mixed (10s or 12s, starting at 6:30 AM)
Schedule: Full-Time with Rotating Weekends
On-Call: Based on schedule

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our cardiovascular operating room team. In this role, you will assist surgeons and nurses during open heart and thoracic procedures, ensuring a sterile, safe, and efficient surgical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Set up operating rooms and ensure procedural readiness
• Assist with patient positioning, transport, and pre-op preparation
• Perform surgical counts with the circulating RN
• Maintain sterile field throughout procedures
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries

Pay Range: $28.00 – $38.00/hour (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

• 2nd Shift: +$3.15/hour
• 3rd Shift: +$4.00/hour

On-Call Pay: +$5.00/hour
