Qualifications

• Must have NCCER, NCCCO, or CIC certification.
• CDL preferred.

• Must pass written and practical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains continual radio/hand communication with Flagger while operating crane.
• Reads and interprets load charts.
• Ensures lifts stay within equipment load limits and rigging is correct; inspects gear.
• Attends safety meetings and follows LOTO procedures.
• Operates crane to hoist materials safely and efficiently.
• Performs lifts according to lift plans.
• Oversees oiler and riggers; assists team leader and signalers.
• Checks slings, cables, and crane prior to lifting operations.
