Job summary

Turner Industries Group in Decatur, AL seeks a Certified Crane Operator to support material handling with overhead cranes. You will operate crane from cab, follow JSA, and perform daily inspections while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• NCCER/NCCCO certification required.
• High school or equivalent.
• Preferably one to two years of crane experience.
• Pre-employment qualification test if applicable.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Hazard Communication orientation/test.
• Turner Industries Group LLC indoctrination.

Responsibilities

• Read and sign off on JSA.
• Operates overhead crane from a cab.
• Receives verbal location instructions for crane movements.
• Stays awake, alert, and aware of surroundings.
• Uses hand levers to control crane functions.
• Performs daily crane inspections.
• Reads and interprets load charts.
• Understands hand signals with workers in the area.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
