Job summary

Zenith Tech Inc. is seeking a Certified Crane Operator (CCO) in Southeast/Southwest Wisconsin for heavy road and highway construction. You will operate cranes, assess loads, inspect equipment, and coordinate with team members to ensure safe, efficient lifting across multiple sites.

Excellent safety and reliability are essential in this family‑oriented environment. The role requires travel to various Wisconsin job sites, flexibility with hours, and adherence to union benefit programs provided

Qualifications

• CCO certification is required.
• Class A CDL is preferred but not required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Willing to travel to Wisconsin job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate crane machinery to move materials at construction sites.
• Determine load weights and verify lifting capacities to prevent overload.
• Inspect/adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions.
• Inspect cables or grappling devices for wear and replace as needed.
• Direct helpers with blocking or outrigging under cranes.
• Load/unload bundles from trucks or move containers to storage.
• Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment.
• Assist with repairs and follow safety and incident reporting procedures.

Job Position

We’re looking for a Certified Crane Operator (CCO) responsible for using machinery to move materials at construction sites. Load or unload bundles from trucks or move containers to storage bins, using moving equipment. Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment. Assist with repairs as needed. Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Location

• Projects will vary by location, so reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to any job site is required as needed. Zenith Tech does extensive heavy/highway construction in different areas, and throughout the state of Wisconsin.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
• CCO (Certified Crane Operator) certification.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.
• Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather.
