Qualifications

• Must have a valid Driver's license.
• CCO (Certified Crane Operator) certification is required.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Union membership or willingness to join is required.
• Able to pass Operators Union aptitude test when required.

Responsibilities

• Determine load weights and verify lifting capacities to prevent overload.
• Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.
• Direct helpers in placing blocking or outrigging under cranes.
• Load/unload bundles from trucks or move containers to storage bins.
