We are seeking a full-time Certified Coder II to join our Central Administration in NE Portland. The role involves collaborating with clinical, operational, and technology teams to ensure accurate coding and billing practices.

The Coder will be responsible for assigning CPT and ICD-10 codes and modifiers, reviewing coding accuracy, supporting insurance appeals, and other duties as assigned. Candidates should be certified, with at least 2 years of coding experience, detail-oriented, organized, and team-focused.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm PST.

Pay Range: $29.61 - $40.06 per hour, based on experience.

Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance fully paid for full-time employees; benefits vary for out-of-state residents.

Qualifications:

  • College-level business and computer courses; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Current certification from AAPC or AHIMA.
  • At least 2 years of medical coding experience preferred, especially in Gastroenterology, pathology, endoscopy, and colonoscopy procedures.
  • Experience with Epic is a plus.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payment systems, payer types, CPT, ICD-10, and A/R management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to patient privacy and care.
