Job summary

Piedmont-Healthcare is seeking a Medical Assistant/ Nursing Assistant to support patient care under physician or RN supervision. The role involves front and back office duties, with duties defined by established guidelines to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting with MA/NA program completion, or two years of clinical experience without degree.

Qualifications

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required or
• In Lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program. Required or
• In lieu of degree /certification from a Medical/Nursing Assistant program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization Upon Hire Required and
