Job summary

Piedmont Medical Care Corporation is seeking a Medical Assistant-level professional to support patient care under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or RN. The role includes front and back office tasks and adherence to established guidelines and standards.

Ideal candidates have an accredited Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program, with CMA-AAMA and BCLS certifications preferred and several years of relevant clinical experience.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of formal education, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• 1 year of experience in a medical office setting with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program required.
• In lieu of degree/certification, two years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• CMA-AAMA Certification upon hire required; BCLS - Basic Life Support upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or RN in accordance with guidelines and standards; duties include front and back office tasks.

Work Experience
