Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician - Central Sterile Supply - Mid Shift

Join our team at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a Certified Central Sterile Processing Technician in the Central Sterile Supply department for the mid shift.

Job Overview

In this role, you will prepare surgical trays and supplies in a safe, cost-effective manner. Responsibilities include decontamination, cleaning, assembly, packaging, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments. The position is full-time, working from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm at our Hudson Valley Hospital in Cortlandt, NY, with on-call requirements once a month for weekends, weeknights, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician (CRCST) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD)
• Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques, infection control, and basic medical/surgical terminology

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in Central Sterile

Additional Information
