Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company in West Chicago, IL is seeking a Crane Operator to join one of the nation’s largest employee-owned firms in horticultural and environmental services. A valid Class A license with air brake endorsement is required, along with CDL-regulated vehicle experience.

Starting pay ranges $30-$45 per hour, with on-site work, benefits and advancement opportunities. Training is provided for equipment maintenance and safety gear; travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• A valid Class A license with air brake endorsement is required.
• Ability to climb trees and operate aerial lifts.
• Experience with CDL regulated vehicles is required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry 50 lbs and travel out of town when required.

Responsibilities

• Crane Operator certification will be required.
• Operate log loaders, prentice loaders, and other equipment.
• Perform basic daily maintenance and light repairs on equipment.
• Provide unmatched customer service.
