Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures the procedure room is prepared, monitors instruments and supplies, participates in staff meetings, performance improvement, and training. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT-R and license or RCIS required.
• Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Saint Joseph Hospital - Elgin offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, 401K, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefits. Estimated total compensation ranges from $31.28 to $45.35 hourly, determined at hire based on experience, education, and credentials.
