External Job Description

• Provide personal caregiving services according to an established plan of care.
• Support the personal needs and comfort of clients in their own homes.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and manage special diets.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Administer medications as trained and delegated by a licensed nurse, with proper certification and licensing.
• Perform Passive Range of Motion exercises with current credentials and annual CE requirements.
• Assist with measuring vital signs for informational purposes.
• Provide transportation to and from activities.
• Offer compassionate companionship to clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• HS/GED preferred.
• Caregiver License (HCA/CNA) required and must be renewed annually.
• Ability to meet BCCU background requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
