Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare in Washington state seeks a Certified Caregiver to provide in-home personal care following an individualized plan to keep clients safe, comfortable, and independent. You will join a caring team dedicated to dignity and responsive support.

You will assist with daily activities, prepare meals, perform light housekeeping, and coordinate with nurses for medication administration and vital signs information while ensuring compassionate companionship and reliable service.

Qualifications

• HS/GED preferred
• Caregiver license required HCA/CNA (Renewed annually)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Capable of working with confidential information

Responsibilities

• Provide personal caregiving services as per a plan of care.
• Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Prepare meals and adhere to special diets.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Administer medications with nurse delegation, requiring proper credentials and annual CE.
• Support vital signs activity for informational purposes only.
• Provide transportation to activities when needed.
• Offer compassionate companionship to clients.

External Job Description

• Provides various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care
• Provides for the personal needs and comfort of people in their own homes
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
• Prepares meals and special diets
• Performs general housekeeping activities
• Administers medications to clients that has been specifically trained and delegated by a Delegating Nurse and has completed a Nurse Delegation Core and / or Nurse Delegation Diabetes course with certificate(s) along with current license, proof of FCG or BT
• Passive Range of Motion – requires current credential, proof of FCG or BT, proof of completing annual CE requirement
• Vital Signs – all caregivers are able offer limited assistance to take vital signs for informational purposes only. We do not record vital sign readings
• Provides transportation assistance to and from activities
• Provides compassionate companionship to patients
• Other duties as assigned
