Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Certified Caregiver to provide compassionate home care in the North Bend area. You will follow an established plan of care, assist with daily living activities, prepare meals, and support patients with mobility and daily tasks.

A valid caregiver license (HCA/CNA) is required and you will work under nurse delegation where applicable. Join a team offering flexible scheduling and competitive wages.

Qualifications

• HS/GED preferred.
• Caregiver License (HCA/CNA) renewed annually.
• Ability to comply with background checks (BCCU).
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides various personal caregiving services in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Prepares meals and special diets.
• Performs general housekeeping activities.
• Administers medications to clients that has been specifically trained and delegated by a Delegating Nurse and has completed a Nurse Delegation Core and / or Nurse Delegation Diabetes course with certificate(s) along with current license, proof of FCG or BT.
• Passive Range of Motion – requires current credential, proof of FCG or BT, proof of completing annual CE requirement.
• Vital Signs – all caregivers are able offer limited assistance to take vital signs for informational purposes only. We do not record vital sign readings.
• Provides transportation assistance to and from activities.
• Provides compassionate companionship to patients.
• Other duties as assigned
