Job summary

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Certified Caregiver in WA to provide in-home care to clients in Lakewood and nearby areas. You will assist with activities of daily living, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship, while ensuring safety and comfort in the client’s home.

Qualified candidates hold a current HCA or CNA license, have strong communication skills, and can pass background checks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually).
• Ability to meet background check requirements.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Dependable, compassionate and able to work independently with good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client's home.
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Supports the personal needs, comfort, and safety of clients.
• Prepares meals and assisting with special diets.
• Performs general housekeeping and household support activities.
• Provides compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assists with transportation to appointments, errands, and activities.
• Administers medications as delegated and permitted by state regulations.
• Assists with Passive Range of Motion activities when credentialed and trained.
• Offers limited assistance with vital signs for informational purposes.
• Maintains accurate communication and reporting changes in client condition to the care team.

External Job Description

• Provides personal caregiving services and support in the client's home

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Current HCA or CNA license required (renewed annually)
• Ability to meet BCCU background check requirements
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work responsibly with confidential information
• Dependable, compassionate, and able to work independently with good judgment
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license
