Job Summary

The Med Care Manager/QMAP administers, documents, and manages medications per physician orders under the supervision of the Wellness Director, adhering to state regulations. You will learn residents' medication preferences and ensure safe administration.

Position Overview
  • Administer and document medications safely following protocols.
  • Order medications timely and ensure delivery; notify if delays occur.
  • Record medication administration accurately in the resident’s medical record.
  • Monitor and report reactions or side effects.
  • Take vital signs as ordered before medication administration.
  • Report medication errors immediately.
  • Assist with care plans and ensure resident dignity and safety.
  • Support daily resident care activities such as grooming, feeding, and mobility.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate core values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
  • Certified in Medication Administration (state-specific), First Aid as required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare experience preferred, especially in assisted living or memory care.
  • Attend required ongoing education and training.
  • Able to read/write English, interpret documents, and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of medication procedures and infection control.
  • Minimum three years’ experience in senior living preferred.

*Team members scheduled for 24+ hours/week are eligible for benefits, as are their families.*
