Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Avondale, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver to join our senior living community on a full-time 12-hour shift and PRN. Must have a valid AZ caregiver certification. Compensation starts at $20.00 per hour with experience-based adjustments.

Caregivers provide loving care, perform daily living activities, and support residents in a family-like environment. Training, benefits, and advancement opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid AZ caregiver certification.
• Must be able to read and write English.
• Experience in health-care or elder care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including toileting, grooming, bathing, feeding, dressing.
• Build strong relationships with residents and work with a caring team.
• Ensure residents' privacy, respect, and dignity at all times.
• Identify and report unsafe conditions; maintain resident safety and comfort.
• Participate in monthly in-service trainings and departmental meetings.
