Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities, LLC is seeking a Certified Caregiver for our assisted living community in Mesa. This full-time role requires supporting residents with activities of daily living, transporting them to activities and dining, and responding to emergencies with a calm, professional approach.

Applicants should hold an Arizona Caregiver Certificate, a high school diploma, CPR, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, environment).
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident/visitor requests, and environmental hazards safely and promptly.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans and obtaining vital signs.

Schedule:Full-time, 10:00p - 6:00a

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills.

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
