Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities in Chandler, AZ is seeking a part-time caregiver for Sundays and Mondays from 6:30am to 2:30pm. You will assist residents with daily living activities and help maintain their living environment.

Responsibilities include transporting residents to activities, responding to emergencies, and reviewing care plans while obtaining vital signs. Required Arizona Caregiver Certificate, CPR, HS diploma, and English proficiency; prior eldercare experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with assistance in activities of daily living (grooming, bathing, and maintaining personal environment).
• Transport residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Respond to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards promptly and safely.
• Review and adhere to resident care plans and obtain vital signs.
