Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a full-time caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities, transport within the community, and respond to emergencies. The role requires a valid Arizona caregiver certificate, CPR, and English proficiency.

Experience with the elderly is preferred, and candidates must meet state requirements. The position offers full-time hours with a schedule 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm and a benefits package including health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certificate required.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population preferred.
• Calm, helpful, and respectful countenance appreciated.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.
