Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a dedicated full-time caregiver to support residents in daily living activities, assist with grooming and personal care, and help transport residents within the community. You will respond to calls, support safety, and review care plans to obtain vital signs as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate, CPR certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
• CPR certification.
• Experience working with an elderly population is preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• A calm, helpful, and respectful countenance is appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Providing residents with assistance in daily living activities such as grooming and bathing.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls and resident or visitor requests in a timely, safe manner.

Job Description

Schedule: Full-Time. Sunday - Thursday, 2pm-10pm.

In this position, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing residents with assistance in the activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing and maintaining their personal environment.
• Transporting residents within the community to activities, other departments, or dining.
• Responding to emergency calls, resident and/or visitor requests, and environmental hazards in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner.
• Reviewing and adhering to resident care plans as well as obtaining vital signs.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, we believe that you need the following experiences and skills.

• A valid Arizona Caregiver Certificate is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• All state educational requirements for the position must be met.
